Hey guys, anyone still around? Ive been trying to get as many Xmods as I can lately!
Hey guys, not sure how many of you here remember me, if anyone even sees this.
Last October, something hit me and I decided I needed to collect Xmods. I've been in to them since like 2007, and never was able to collect them like I really wanted to. Well, here I am years later trying to catch up. Wish I knew back then what I know now, and wish I could have afforded them back then. Anyways, here's a few pictures of some of my more favorite ones, and one of the whole collection. https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds The picture of them all is the most recent picture. I am still looking to add more, the next on my list that I am after is the orange 67 Camaro. If anyone is here, and if anyone sees this who has some up for grabs, get a hold of me! I'm not looking to add in any more of the ones that I own, just looking to add the ones I do not own yet. |
First post in years, literally!
I try to check in nearly everyday...whenever the site is up and running correctly. |
Still around. Haven't messed with them for quite a while. Glad to see interest in them again

Good to see some familiar names still! I don't really work on or drive the ol Xmods any more, they're just shelf queens. The most I do with them is give them a good polishing to remove any scuffs they had from use, and am working on having them completely stock like they came out of the case, and have the body kit in the package also, and if any body kit pieces are installed, the stock ones stay in the case to keep it all complete.
My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I'm hoping one day this collection will be more valuable than it is now. |

That is exactly what mine do, collect dust! I can't part with them and don't really have the time to mess with them these days. |
Wow, thought I'd see if anyone was still around and there's a fresh thread asking just that LOL. Nice collection! I like the rims on that '67.
Mine mostly sit around too, though I do mess around with them from time to time. Didn't have the money back in the day, got other things to spend it on now. |
Awesome collection. I had the same thought the other day. Now that I am older I can afford to collect them like I always wanted, but now you can’t find some of those rare ones. Finding pics of some of those are even hard to find. HPI subbie that’s a tough one to find

Well, I have 3 more on the way and I'm really excited about these!
Can't get any pictures to upload, been so long since I've needed image hosting and apparently Photobucket is absolute junk these days lol! But, I have a new still sealed silver 350z on the way from across the pond, and I now have a silver AND a blue Skyline, with a full body kit for the silver Skyline, and body kit for the silver 350z on the way, those will be here on Tuesday. If there's anything I have learned while trying to build my collection, it is that you can not plan for your next purchase or you will miss out on other deals. My next goal is still the orange Camaro, but those 2 Skylines and 350z just showed up in my lap and there was just no way to turn that down as that chance doesn't come up very often these days. |

Where are you finding these? |
Just now saw you had posted, I have found them with the help of a buddy in the Czech Republic, and on the German Ebay. The silver and blue Skylines were actually on the american Ebay, but I knew the guy selling them so I made him a straight offer he couldnt refuse because I was not going to miss that opportunity.
I also recently added in a brand new, still sealed orange 67 Camaro and body kit, but it's not sealed any more. I had to open that one, as I never plan to sell it! |
Awesome keep collecting them. It is sad to see the hobby die but thankfully there are still people out there preserving and enjoying them.

Clearing out old bookmarks I randomly saw this... wow. Been a while...
I actually recently made an Insta account where it's all just rc stuff. Look me up if any old timers still around :) insta: afterhoursrc |
There's a name I haven't seen in a while! How's it going man?

Glad to see some people posting still!
I have to share the good news. This week will be the best Xmods delivery I will ever get. 1 white Subaru (authentic) 1 Fujitsubo 1 stickered HPI They're just bodies with clips and wheels, but the bodies are the most valuable part anyway. I cant believe I've actually managed to pull this off! What's good for image hosting these days? I have to show you guys pictures once these come in! |

They are out there, but very tough to find from what I have seen.
I got Photobucket to work today, so heres a few pictures! https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds Had to add the body kit and lower it, the Camaro in stock form looks sloppy! https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds When I got the new ones in, all of them are on a chassis now. Have a Euro and US blue Subi here. https://beta-static.photobucket.com/...080&fit=bounds In their display case. The whole collection is nearly complete! |
Wow, impressive for sure!:eyecraz:

Very nice collection you got there

Some of the prices seem pretty crazy still for xmods even though the amount of people collecting them has obviously dropped massively. Where do you look for the rarer ones?
