im finding a 75mph 4wd really hard to believe coming from a small .12.

my experience with a trx 2.5r, trx 3.3, mach 427 and an axial 28 tells me this!

but i could be very wrong, id really like to see this in action ..

badass_savage 12-08-2008 10:14 PM

those .12's are rpm junkys, but if your going by what the company is advertising it won't go 75 maybe 60, it just like the savage. Being advertised at 40+ be lucky to go 35

deckerz 12-09-2008 09:02 AM

it does go 75 for deffinate, i took it down to the hobby shop because somthing was up with it (i have block rally tyres on so more grip) and he fixed it then put it on a machince at full throttle and it came up with 75mph.

badass_savage 12-09-2008 10:44 AM

post some pics of it, id love to get a car but my road sucks, thats why i have a savage haha.

deckerz 12-09-2008 11:51 AM

cant get pics of it going becaue where i live the roads have been icey 2 weeks now. heres some chassis pics. that exhaust is worth £35 and i got the full car for £40.

nice ride dood ..

i need to get a car as well for those hot summer days when the malls parking is clean :D

still tho, 75mph is insanely fast and i just cant wrap my head around it. i bash with a couiple friends who have jatos, and have seen a nitro 4-tech 3.3 hauling arse ..

eeesh 75mph, dang dood!

deckerz 12-09-2008 12:03 PM

hehe thanks, its well funny up at the carpark at night when nobdy there.
outrunning my dads 1:1 car lol

amorton94 12-09-2008 05:49 PM

ok your dad must have stayed in 4th then..... 75 i think is....unoptainable with that motor..

REDisFASTER 12-24-2008 02:38 AM

Completely agreed with 75 being unattainable with a TT motor. Just looking at its part-quality, its pretty cheap. NO ONE runs those tires on a touring car.

As well, only high-end (ie. $300+) engines like a few of O.S.'s .12, a Collari, a Nova Rossi, just to name a few, are capable of speeds that high.

Unless you have pics of the hobby shop dude's "machine" that read 75MPH, as well as pics of how this "machine" works, I'm calling BS.

No one tests the speed of an R/C car using a "machine". Any reputable source of R/C speed collecting is done using a GPS radar.

XMDrifter 12-24-2008 11:51 AM

well, the machine wouldn't have simulated road and wind resistance as well as inertial resistance, like how some people have those 60mph xmods on the dyno, but once it's on the actual ground, it goes like, 30. and takes a little while to get there.
in reality, it's no-load topspeed is 75, but when loaded down with the actual chassis's weight, it'll go around 45-55
