Hey Donz... I entered. If anything is up or missing etc. just shoot me a pm. Thanks

Donziikid 01-09-2009 10:08 PM

Your post is 100%. You have more than four pictures, but no more than seven, and one of your pictures includes a chassis shot. Plus, you even included a list of upgrades/details as per mentioned in the Rules. Welcome to the Competition and good luck!

Cheers,
Kyle.

xmodzracer 01-09-2009 10:10 PM

Thank you. I wasn't sure if you wanted the name card with the car again.

Nah. Not a large prize up for grabs this time. I mean, you can include it if you want, but it's not in the rules. ;)

Cheers,
Kyle.

xmodzracer 01-09-2009 10:14 PM

can a 93 mustang count for it? it kinda is classisfied as 80s

theoriganalRiD3R1967 01-10-2009 01:06 AM

i assume custom chassis do not count as fully functioning xmod chassis, correct?

sorry if this is considered as spam for having a very obvious answer, but i'm checking just in case....

with the way its worded, to my under standing it doesnt includes 80's cars. it includes up TO 1980. so nothing 1981 or newer qualifys. So my guess would be no.

xmodzracer 01-10-2009 09:45 PM

which part of the car has to remain xmods for it to be an xmods? i see alot of custom chassis' and alot of board swaps and even more model bodies. so what exactly classifies it as an xmods???

Camaro98 01-10-2009 10:58 PM

Haha, good question. I've seen some custom cars on this forum that seem to have not much stock left other than the steering box. I think what it comes down to is that you have to be able to tell that your platform (chassis/ project donor) is constructed mostly of Xmod-specific parts (either stock or upgrades).

Someone can add to that if I'm off base here...

snowboi1289 01-10-2009 11:31 PM

Hey, I thought I posted here??? Oh well. Hey Donzii, can you make a thread for like suggestions for future competitions? I got a couple idea's that will mean big for the winners. Good prizes too.

Edit: Come on no El Camino, thats real stupid. Can you lift a El Camino, can you go major muddin' with an El Camino, can you throw some large super swampers on an El Camino, no, so it shouldnt be considered a truck, it should be considered a car. I had a old friend at my secondary school that had a 69 El Camino, it/still is the CAR of his life.

I was going to enter the Mustang Boss, but I dont know, it might be for sale, along with mostly everything else.

So an early 80s Monte Carlo, or Cutlass 442 arent muscle cars? Eh, if not, I'll find something else.

I think basically what they mean is no mini-z's.

even thou i agree it is a car. and is built off a car plate form. Legally it is registered as a truck.

you can do a chassis swap on an elcamino and throw some 44's on it and have a mud beast. had one around here. and they classify as a truck, i had a ranchero and had to tag it as a truck which sucks.

i think its time i finished my nova and get it in this comp. :) good luck everyone thats entering.

SPR 01-11-2009 01:38 AM

Teaser hint at my entree. Assuming i can find the right model for less than $200 freaking dollars. And if anyone steals my car idea... Im flying to your house and stepping on it. :p

ignore the retard talking in the background, he was trying to impress my girl friend.... like the loser he is... pretty sure she is more crazy for the guy driving the car that he can "almost" (more like get his *** handed too him by over 1.5 seconds) than him. haha
