need for speed - midnight club(3)
which one do you guys think is better???? each ahve there good pros' and cons', gimmie ur opinion please! : (

I think MNC3 Dub Edition is better than NFS in some ways. Mainly because I just like the style of the game better (its mainly a car customization game, but racing is involved ot earn cash), but for racing alone, i'd say NFS is better.
|
Everything after NFS UG1 kinda lost it for driving, but Most Wanted is far better then Carbon.
MC: DUB rules, great and fun online play (NFS is full of pricks), and a godly amount of customizing options. |
Most Wanted, but that's only because it's like Driver with more customizable cars.

MC: DUB kills with customization. |
Most Wanted is much better becuase its alot of racing and u can custimize ur car in like every way.

DUB is fun, that's for sure. |

why is it like driver? you can't steal cars, you don't have guns, you just race. |

need for speed carbon is the best because you can cutomize your own rims, bodykits, spoilers, exhaust, and you can move your vinyls to anywhere on your car and you can rotate them too.

That would probably be the most fun thing about any game, testing your skills on evading police. Especially when the bounty hightens, and they want you really bad. :roll_eye: |
personally, i like midnight club 3 dub edition better. i usually play that one more than nfs, and i think that you can upgrade your car better in dub edition, also, you can cruise and stuff and you dont have to race. but even when you do race, the races are longer, and there is no "laps" that you have to do. like in nfs, you have races with numerous laps, but in dub edition, its more like street racing. also, there are better cars.
|
you do have to do laps in some races but it is cooler because you can go your own way as long as you go through the checkpoints. and some of the cars are better
I have both of the games and i like them both a lot. |
yeah, i know all the "short cuts" in dub.
|
as far as realism NFS takes the cake no problem carbon kinda sucked but the cars in it were pretty cool like the C6 Z06, but the cars and trucks in MC3 (i have both original and remix) are a lot cooler, like the 70 Chevelle SS and the Escalade EXT and the Saleen S7 and Mclaren F1 LM, so they both kinda have their ups and downs, it just depends on what you really wanna play at that time
|
i also played remix and my favorite starting car was the 64 impala. i hooked it up and it was fast as hell.
|
I like both games. Carbon is the best need for speed game and i honestly cant stand most wanted. I had it on psp for like a day before i got rid of it.
|
I think the driving and roaming around cities and stuff feels better in MC3 if not a little more arcadey too. And like everyone else has already said the customization kicks ***
Why does everybody like Most Wanted so much? I like the style of Carbon more and I don't think the gameplay differs that much from Most Wanted. But I could be wrong, i've only played the demo for MW. |
PSP versions suck, carbon was junk compared to Most Wanted, and drifting had become a total joke. The physics of the game started a slow decline after UG1 and some of UG2.
But, between the two, I lust for MC DUB far more often then NFS, so. MC: DUB far, far better than any of the late NFS games. More customization, more races (open city too) more cars, and the tiny details that you can make your car truely yours. Much more fun online as well. Grab MC: DUB remix, more cars on top of the what, 40 or so that was in MC DUB. If you want a really fun NFS with cops, get Hot Pursuit 2, for the PS2 (all other consol versions were crap compared to the PS2's). The game is 5 years old or so, and so much fun still. Great, great graphics, smart AI, smart cops too. Still the best NFS I own for the PS2 (HP2, UG1 and UG2, MW, renting Carbon was bad enough) |
Yeah Hot Pursuit 2 is one of my favorites along with Need For Speed 1, 2, Hot Pursuit (the first one), and High Stakes. All the original Need For Speeds are the best. Need For Speed Underground 2 is also one of the best new-ish Need For Speeds too.
The drifting is really bad in Carbon (it feels like your car is attached to a metal pole when you're driving it) but you're not required to do it in order to beat the game. The drift races in Carbon are optional in story mode. Also, just wondering, whats so good about the PS2 version of Hot Pursuit 2? I had it for PC |
