Welcome to xmodsource, I hope you enjoy it here
Nice lancer dude, I love it.

How fast is it?

civicblack10 01-29-2008 08:46 PM

"Deans connectors (pwr switch delete mod)"

So it doesnt have li-po's?? As soon as i saw the pic of the deans going down under your car i assumed you had li-po's cause thats the same set-up used for them.

PS. Nicely done XMOD! Love the clean FET stack work and the Deans connector/power switch delete! One of the cleanest modified chassis I've seen around!

You should really run a hot motor, 2x6 MOSFETs is pointless w/o a motor....
Since Xmods aren't for precision, but for speed...
But dang, nice stack!!
You do it, someone else?:)

JDMDUDE 01-29-2008 09:11 PM

nice lancer you have there

Actually no li-po yet. I have another battery tray so I can modify for lipos once I'm ready.

I know...have any suggestions on which motor if I don't run lipos?

Thanks for the props...I did the stack myself :)

2wdpancar 01-29-2008 09:21 PM

If you don't run LiPos, it's a good idea to get a handwound motor.
REDSXmodder and I both make motors.:)
Stacked em yourself, bravo!!
I need to try...

dontspamme 01-29-2008 09:33 PM

Nice stacks ;) I suggest going with lipos and a custom motor from RedSXmodder on here. Just read the rules and have a great time here!!

lilxflip 01-29-2008 09:49 PM

how did u get the hood to fit so well. when i tried to put it with the body kit, it has a gap.

xmodificationer 01-29-2008 09:50 PM

try taking off the front bumper and side skirts, put the hood on first then do the others

2x6 stack? Wow, not sure that's necessary, but it leaves you pretty much limitless as far as motors go. How did that affect the steering, get a little jittery? So far I like the lancer, welcome to the forum, read the rules and enjoy your stay.

Not necessary but I had purchased a bulk supply and I had many on hand so I just did it. Steering is fine. Why would be jittery?

RedSXmodder 01-30-2008 04:28 PM

2x6 and a stock motor? How about a 25t pattern wind motor?

Later,
RedSXmodder

edgarsevo8 01-30-2008 09:33 PM

and super nice lancer by the way
