New to Forum
Hi all,
I'm, new to this forum but not RC. I have several 1/10th scale stadium trucks and 2 Xmod Supra's. I missed the last lot of cars due to a deployment but I have now purchased 2 new Xmods. The F-150 and the 2006 Mustang I bought the body kits and put some stuff on them. Not sure what else I want to do to them. I'll look around this site for ideas. I may just leave them as is. I do have a couple questions: 1. Do the 1st Gen Racing crystals work in the new evo chassis? 2. Do the 1st gen Stage 2 motors work with the Evo chassis? I know the connectors are different but if I get new connectors they should work. |
yes to both your questions and welcome to xmodsource :D

Any way, Most of my RC stuff is stock. My Rusty has an aluminum rear shock tower. I have replaced a few skid plates and installed RPM bumpers. My MT2 has Dirt Hawgs and my Buggy's have them as well. Dirt Hawgs wrok rally well in Iraq lol |

I'm getting the itch for paintball and RC truckin. My brother has a few X-mods and before I went over there we where going to build an X-mod track from PVC. that will prolly be a spring project once it warms up again. |

Hey Thanks so much. It is great to be back! When something like that happens you get a good look at what you take for granted...
Anyway. I have been reading on the customizations thread and decided to give it a shot. I have a '98 firebird, 1/25th scale and fitting everything together. I'm not sure how yet to get a sturdy mount system but I do have an idea for a sitting model. I'll look a bit harder into the tut's and see what comes up for a sturdy mounting system. |
Hey how is your traxxas REVO treating you that is the Nitro car i was going to get. So if you have any info. you think i would want to know about them please let me know. thanks:)

j_meneskie,
can do , I'll post in the off topic area for the revo for you. Also, I did some major kit bashing tonight on my fire bird. I have the rear clip in place, braces in the front to keep the body from sagging. all I have to do is get the front clip block secured and I can finish building the basic car. I think i'll use some weather stripping foam on the sides to secure the body even further. Has anyone used foam to secure the sides of there mods? |
Welcome to the site!

1.) Yes. The Xmod Gen1 Crystals work with Mini-Z's, Traxxas Radios, Micro-T's, and Xmod Evo's.... 2.) Yes. Same kind of motor, you just need a diffrent conector. |
