Motors...SPEC Sheet
I figured why not start a thread that members can
enter motor fields so that other know what kinda motors are out there? Ill start... X2 Lightspeed by: Performance Xmods Pro Edition: The X-2 series uses the highest quality neodymium magnets *Silver Wire *High Speed Winding *1mm thick "FAT" Comm *Extra large armature rotor for max torque *Spiral Armature *Neodymium Magnets *Carbon Brushes *Foam Padding To Keep Motor Safe *Super Vented ball bearing can *Pre-Broken Motor *Tribo Comm Lubed *18g Motor Plug Highly Recommended: -GPM Alloy Parts -Li-Poly 12C+ 7.4v Power Source -Full 18 Wire Upgrade -Bearings -AWD **Tribo Comm Drops Required **Heat Sink Required **External Turbo / 2x2 FET stack Required Motor's tops speed is 50 mph @ 7.4v. |
RT-1 Modified Motor by: Performance Xmods
FET Stock Motor On Generation 1 & Evo Xmod Ball-Bearing Can High Temperature Endbell High Performance SB Magnets EGR Motor Epoxy For Best Wind Special Torque Displacement Armature Highly Conductive Carbon Brushes Note: This motor runs very well at 4.8v - 6.0v. We also recommend an 8-9 tooth pinion. .When running this motor above 6.0v, we highly recommend purchasing comm drops to prevent possible damage. |
Hyper Torque 180 by: Performance Xmods
Hyper Torque 180 will beat a stage II motor. Runs On Stock FETs Low Amp Consumption Naturally stays cool so you don't need a heat sink Silver Brushes To Offer Max Torque & Acceleration Requires extensive chassis modifications for EVO cars. No modification required for Gen. 1 Xmods. Note: We recommend running this motor between 4.8v-7.4v with an 8-9 tooth gear ratio. |
Radioshack Stock S-1
130 can Weak armature Weak magents 26,000 RPM Radioshack Stock S-2 130 can Stronger armature Stronger magnets 30,000 RPM *Use the supplied heatsink! SB Hybrid (Spinbrush) 130 can RS S-2 armature Neo magnets RPMs: N/A *Stacked FETs not required for this motor *Best run on NIMH batteries @ 800mAh rating *Must use alloy heatsink to disperse heat! |
Stop bringing back old topics, look at the dates, its more than 60 days old! oh and btw the spinbrush is neo-magnets, check whoanelly.com for info on the motor
|
true SB is not neo torredo made a special version of it "SB super modified" or something like that but the original motor is ferrite.
|
Cool, but then you might as well just buy Neo mags, how would it be an SB motor, when only the mags come from the toothbrush's motor, and those are replaced with neo's?
|
well now i know
|
dont bring back old topics! this is a sticky so i wont close it but noone else reply to this topic plz!
