He said he doesn't want to buy from an online store. When I go to my LHS to get new shocks for my Nitro Stampede, I will look.

he said he did a search, he said he was looking for a some one to give him a good referral to a online store. Stop being a troll as you like to say, the kid is just looking for some help and is looking for a creditable source. If you no help to the topic why bother even posting some smart *** remarks.

Tower Hobbies. Unless you drive a Losi, Mugen Seiki, or XRAY vehicle, its one of the few R/C sites you'll ever need. As for being a 'good' online store, they're second-to-none. I guarantee it. Their customer service is top notch (I've never had to use it, but a couple of friends have).

As for your rocker arms, here you go: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...cker&search=Go

As well, since they're so small, the shipping shouldn't add more than $15-20 on the whole cost

boooo on aluminum, its nothing but an expensive part to break vs a cheap part to break, if you can find them in Titanium then just keep buying plastic.

torredo 01-12-2008 05:53 PM

i will say this to add to the thread....

I have a Savage done to the hilt, however...
i will NEVER have allloy arms on it as they bend almost immediately. Unless you like a shelf queen, then by all means...

Plastic has memory, consider that.

Just shut up, you go break an aluminum part without doing somethig stupid or being the worst driver ive ever seen. Seiously even my sister couldnt break my REVO...so since it took 5 months for me to actually break a serious part i doubt im going to break an aluminum one any time soon...

And BTW thanks red im gonna order it tomorrow...

oh and i had a svage till about 3 weeks ago, and i never put any alloy on it infact i barely even broke a serious part, mostly because i dont drive them to insane...just some dirt, sand and rough broken concret and ETC at construction sites while im on break...

torredo 01-13-2008 11:53 PM

i hate to say this but he is right....

When it comes to the suspension arms you are wasting money unless you can find Ti ones with a chunk of change to boot.

Plastic suspension arms FTW.

meme405 01-14-2008 12:22 AM

W/e, BLING FTW...

torredo 01-14-2008 12:59 AM

if its a shelf queen you want or you like spending money like this everytime it bends on you, then thats your perogative right?

good luck.

REDisFASTER 01-14-2008 01:16 AM

Aren't we talking about the rocker arms on the Revo? Rocker arms aren't the same as suspension arms, they just transfer movement from one direction to another. In this case, up and down suspension arm travel to in-and-out travel of the damper.

If meme405 is looking to get aluminum rocker arms for his Revo, by all means, go right ahead. If it were actual suspension arms, then I wouldn't recommend it.
