I still have my xmods and still mess with them from time to time. Who's all still on here?

I stop by every once in a while. Still have some unfinished projects I need to get around to.

I'm still kinda around. I've been busy with college as of late so Xmods have been placed on the wayyy back burner.

I have one Xmod left and still check in as much as I can.

I pop in once every few weeks. I have 7 xmods and spare parts still, though those have taken second seat to my 1:10th drifters. two of which are RWD only and the 3rd is 1.76 CS. hoping to save up for a 3rd rwd chassis.

i have no clue. i think it went out of business/shut down
i've been well. boyfriend's on a trip in israel still, but he'll be back soon and so i can teach him the joys of plastic model building and electronics. (he won't get it. psych major)

he sold his stock to another vendor.

that's a bummer. who bought his stock?

Im still here, Got all mine still running. Actually got back into them recently now that i work at a hot rod shop, We drive them around after hours through the shop.

nice. that sounds pretty fun. i've still got 6 of them and a mini-z. gotta fix my mini-z a lil still and get my xmods running again (all my batteries for them are basically dead and wont' hold charge anymore)

Yah, Everyone's agreed that its gone for good. So much lost information...:(

To my understanding's the information is not lost...unless the server got fire or something!
The major problem is money to kept it runing, to pay the electricity and the loans every months...basically out of the pocket of a single user?

I hope it will return..somehow, somewhere!

I read the first line and got excited.

The address is the same, but the tenant has changed. I'm guessing it went down something like this:

The contract between Chris and the hosting company ran out, leaving the host with the domain name and a site that's not making them money anymore. They took the site down, and we got a page not found message. They saw that the link was still getting hits, so they rented out the domain to some sketchy sales group or another. Said sketchy company gets page views they don't deserve, maybe profits, and stops paying for the domain once people catch on and quit going there.

The content that was XMF is no longer on that server, or if it is, it's a backup somewhere that we can't get at.

Jeez what a throwback. All of my Xmod stuff is in a few boxes at home, I haven't touched them in forever.

I've actually been thinking about doing all the go fast mods my high school budget never let me do. GPM upgrades, Li-Ions, upgraded FETs, a hot motor... I just need to find all my crap at home now.

I have the old XI stock. If anyone needs parts PM me.

How did you manage to get a hold of all that stuff?

Chris contacted me and offered to sell it to me. He said he wanted it to go to a good home and knew about my son and I working with xmods and helping people in the xmods community.

Got any full cars with that? or just parts.

No he sold those a while back. I do have one of the flag chassis's. And the NOS. And the Spider chassis. And a few more chassis's. Plus a whole lot more.
