Micro-T BL issue

My motor is acting up, Idk.

Seems as if something is binding, or maybe just radio interfernce, apartment building in SF have a lot of different frequencies, but I doubt it, I might go to my parking garage to see if it spins, but any help is greatly appreciated, I am seriously thinking of using my chassis for this bl motor.
Here's a crappy vid:

First, start by not just banging it back onto the table when you're done holding it.

Have you ever had this motor running before or have you ever had problems before? Are your ESC to motor wires in the correct bullet with the corresponding color? Are your batteries fully charged; both the battery powering the ESC/Motor and the batteries in your TX?

Alright, no more dropping.

Yeah, I had it running, what happened is the guy at my LHS is really skilled, not some retard who just wants easy money.

He hooked it up and everything worked fine.

Then I got the mini-x receiver, I think I plugged it in the wrong spot, that might've fried my esc, possibly?

Yeah, all the connectors are correct, the LiPo has been recently charged, and it's only been used to try and get this to work, so maybe I'll try a new charge, but I think the ESC might've fried when I plugged it into the wrong spot on the mini-x RX.

My TX is reading 11.2v and 11.1v, should be enough to get this thing to work...might need to get a new esc...dang..

Reverse the JST plug that goes from your ESC to your receiver. Your positive and negative terminals might be in the wrong spot, causing it be powered but not run. Try that and see what happens, if you know what I'm talking about.

o_0 Never thought of that...hopefully that's the problem...I'll edit my ost saying if it works or not, hopefully it'll work.

OMG!
I thought my LiPo just inflated!
No joke, I pulled it off and it seemed really hard...I was trying to smell it, what I did is I am leaving it in my fire escape for 30 mins, and if nothing happenes, I'll recharge it, now I don't know what to do.

Well, no explosion, thank the Lord!
Well, the ESC isn't even turning on, so I am assuming the battery is dead, I'm throwing it on the charger right now...stay tuned to see if it blows up or not. lol

Do you have the stock battery pack that came with the Losi? If you do, use that to try and figure out your problem. It's a hell of a lot safer than a LiPo.

I tore it apart.
So far everything is going okay..lol

Donzii, with the other way, for some reason, the ESC won't even turn on, lol.

It's the motor, I have a feeling...
:( :O

hmmm, Im a moderator on a micro-t forum. I have not seen anyone have this problem. There might be some binding in the motor, I don't think the interference has anything to do with it. There is a possibility that it fried. If you can not get it working call Horizon.

2wdpancar 03-29-2008 06:16 PM

Bingo!
Eh, I'll have to call Herizon..

xmodificationer 03-29-2008 06:31 PM

Either Horizon, or Excelleron (sp).

Stampedekid 03-29-2008 07:13 PM

I had a similar problem, but with my micro stock motor. If the motor is burnt out, then it would be harder to spin by hand. May as well call Horizon or Xcelerion (sp?)

I am going to re-program the esc tonight, and I'll hope for te best, other wise I'm selling my micro-t as a roller along with my EVO chassis...and buy a new set.

Lol. Which version do you have? DT,T,B,R? (Micro Desert Truck, Micro T, Micro Baja, Micro Raminator.)

Sweed 03-29-2008 10:07 PM

Go in a field, away from Houses and the city.
It might just be interference that's being a PITA, and your overstimating it.
Hell, my Micro-T never ran indoors. Just glitched like nuts. Outside it was fine.

Most_Wanted 03-29-2008 10:14 PM

I don't think it's interference, otherwise he would be getting some sort of response from the motor, some sporadic behaviour at least. Plus, I don't think BLT is using the stock radio with the Excelorin (using Futaba system, I thought).

I have the regular micro-t, it shouldn't make a difference no matter what micro-t I have.

Dude, that's a PITA getting out of the city, lol.
Maybe it'l work undergroud in my parking garage, but really, it glitches like all hell broke loose in my apartment, before I tore it to shreds for the BL.

Thanks, btw, did you see my reply to your thread or did you get a reply from -XCRL-?

Not to get to off topic but how much would it cost for you to do that in an xmod?

Dude, go find out yourself.
Different places have different prices, but really that has absolutely nothing to do with this.

I programmed the esc wrong...I might buy a new motor(probably will) and keep the esc, or I will sell my micro-t stuff for dirt cheap.:p

Most_Wanted 04-03-2008 01:35 AM

How did you program the esc wrong? Wouldn't you program it the same as a Mamba 25 (or very similar)? Did you find out the problem with the motor and whether or not you can send it back?

stang_racer 04-03-2008 11:01 AM
