SuMnEr_CuStOmS 02-14-2011 10:59 PM

i dont know i got new bks for it i put them on last night and i dont know what kind of rims i want to use yet to make it jdm statis and im keeping it stock blue

99jdmgsr 02-15-2011 12:46 AM

the easiest thing is prob to use the stock front and rear and just add on to make like a lip kit and then drop it a bit that would be a good start

SuMnEr_CuStOmS 02-15-2011 12:54 AM

99jdmgsr 02-15-2011 01:29 AM

id search ebay and maybe find some ma-010 rims for mini z and modify ur axles they have alot of rims especially some volks that would go nice or stock plastic rims that could work for jdm

Search the forum and you should find a tutorial on how to lower it by modifying the body and front clip.

EDIT: http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6384

That should help you. It's a Civic body too so it should be fairly simple for you.

SuMnEr_CuStOmS 02-15-2011 06:28 PM

i wish i could get mini z wheels i have no money though and i seen that tut about lowing and i dont want to cut the body

99jdmgsr 02-15-2011 09:25 PM

well honestly alot of the sick cars that have been done on here all required modifying. Its part of the hobby, u know like what hasnt somebody tried yet, who comes up with better ideas or easier or possibly cheaper. Also who can modify making it look clean and not all jacked up. SO if you dont want to cut the body then u dont but try and come up with a way to do it so u can show other people.

How about putting some yellow fog lights on the factory bumper and then put a rear fog light also if your going for a jdm look.

SuMnEr_CuStOmS 02-16-2011 05:49 PM

i can do that but i dont have stock skirts and i want some better rims

JDMDUDE 02-17-2011 06:57 PM

xxmoderxx 03-26-2011 12:51 PM

to go more JDM you should try getting a stock body kit and make a custom lip IMO

SuMnEr_CuStOmS 03-28-2011 08:04 PM

whats a lip

99jdmgsr 03-29-2011 12:32 AM

a lip kit that's JDM style.
search a type r lip or a mugen lip for a civic and see the pics u get back!

SuMnEr_CuStOmS 03-29-2011 02:21 AM

how would i make a lip though i seen them on google but dont know how to make my own stuff yet

xxmoderxx 03-29-2011 11:04 AM

an easy way is to get a spare cheap bodykit with a bumper that has a bottom that can be made into a lip. (like the supra wild body kit) the cut the lip off and sand it and make it fit. i used the supra wild bodykit and made one for my rsx. works fine just gotta mount it. i will post pics when i get a camera
