Rally Subaru

I decided to build a rally Subaru and so I did.

Here it is when I bought it. Not enough rally yet.

Next I needed some parts. Tires and decals atleast.

So I ordered this.

There was so much nice parts like cool tires and rims + decals.

Next I needed better bodykit. So I ordered that too.

I decided to use this:

But it didnt look good so I got an idea.
Time to use Dremel and cut away!

Next I looked what other parts I could use from that Tamiya Subaru-kit.

This looks good.

After putting everything together here is the result:

It turned out to be pretty nice. Decals didnt fit perfectly, but I may do something about them when I got time. I love that front bumper. Looks so mean with that STi-logo.

What else I did? Lifted ground clearance with that switch screws-tactic. Also changed front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts from stock to more rally-like.

What I could do also: Antennas on the roof, roof scoop, 4 night lights to the front and also those clips to the hood that keeps it closed. And replacing those plastic lug nuts to metal ones.

My first project. Whee!

They came with that Tamiya Subaru-kit.

And Im pretty sure they would fit to stock rims too. Not 100 % sure, but I find out if someone wants to know.

Welcome and great job on this project so far! I would have to say that this is one of the cleanest and most detailed rally STi's that anyone has performed utilizing a XMODS platform in recent memory! Keep up the good work and enjoy your stay! :)

Not much. I thought there would be more, but only front needs a bit work because it wont steer fully left or right, but almost.

could you find out if it will fit stock rims?

Yes they fit pretty nicely. I didnt even remove that stock ridge from Subaru rims.

I had to make them fit.

First I drilled a hole into them. Then I cutted out that d-hole from some extra xmod rims and glued it inside of that rim.

The stock Subie wheels look a hell lot nicer on the Rally tires! :D

Do you mind telling me where I can get them tires? :)
