Buy some chrome color spray and use it on all the grills, handles, window trim, etc unless they already came chromed.

grill is already chrome, what doof handles? as for the trim, not much there to paint, not really a set trim part. but i like your thinking. i already have tamiya silver / chrome for the air brush.

On that note, what airbrush? I'm still in the playing/learning stages w/ my crappy plastic Aztek, but we all have to start somewhere, right? I'd really appreciate a few tips on using these things in general.

As far as chrome trim, check the Auto Scale 300C- IMO its one of the definition bodies for that whole line. New XM R8 is really getting there too.

its a snap-on airbrush. playing around with it is how you learn to do more. main thing i have found to watch for when air brushing is, find out what thickness of paint your airbrush likes best, and try to mix it that way each time.

You need two things:
a little mini "Wheel Whores" sticker
a little mini "No fat chicks: Car will scrape" sticker

Looks good. Any idea on rims. You'll need something with a dish.

looks like it could turn out to be a great project.
