If your looking to buy a model kit, find a 1/24. You'll need to modify your chassis to make the body fit properly.

People buy from different places. Online is usually your best bet these days as Wal-Mart (at least the stores in North Carolina) don't carry models anymore. You can find a limited selection if you have any Kmart stores around. The main stores to check out at retail are going to be Hobby Lobby and hobby shops in general; as well as craft stores such as Michael's. There is a store that can be found in parts of North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia called Magic Mart that has a very nice selection as well if you are ever in any of those areas.

Plastic models are your best bet as they are much lighter than their metal counterpart. Metal models are just too heavy for XMODS to handle successfully.
