I've had this for a while, plan on doing a few upgrades this year, and some other things. But for now here it is, been playing around with the new GoPro i got for christmas, here's a few vids

That camera is amazing. What setup is it and what does something like that cost?

picked it up for around 360. you can get some cheaper, this one had the memory with which is why it was a few dollars more. the cool thing is you can get all sorts of mounts for it. you can use the remote to start stop, change mode, take pics or vids. its pretty cool. Also there is an app for either iphone or android that you can preview what the camera sees before you start recording. its cool.

best thing is the camera is relatively small, so it does not get in the way very easily.

So is yours the hero 3 or hero 3+? Quite a confusing array of cameras. Probably going to get one for me and the boys but not having much luck choosing.

its the black edition, mine doesn't say 3+ just 3, looks like the + just means its 20% smaller
they have 3 different styles, just depends on how fancy / how high of resolution you want. the black is the best resolution, highest fps, so you can do better slow mo.

The waterproof case is the only thing smaller. The cameras themselves are the same size. The advantages of the Hero3+ over the Hero3 are better battery life, better low light performance, decreased weight, and decreased wind noise. Hero3+ Black edition also boasts "superview" which is a wider field of view.

Well right now for me it's a toss up between the hero3 black and hero3+ silver. Each has advantages and close in price. I guess the best deal I find will win.

Well after some price matching I ended up with the 3+ black with case and 16gb card. Couldn't pass the deal up. Thanks for the info guys and sorry if I hijacked the thread.
