I don't think he was attacking the work of someone he wasn't even referring to. All three of those are well done, WAY better than I could ever do, but the first two I wouldn't call "perfect" the body seems much wider than the wheel base. The wheels sit pretty deep in the wheel wells. They do look good though.

i know he wasnt attacking me personally but c'mon.
if you say something like that, someones bound to take notice.
im not the only one mounting model bodies, nor am i the best.
peruse through the galleries and you will see a plethora of model converted xmods that blow away ANYTHING R/S could produce.

now, as far as mine go. the first body('cuda) it was hardly mounted in that pic and the chassis has been modified to accept truck lower arms and firebird wheels to widen the stance and fill out the wells. the body is still sitting on the curing shelf.

the second pic(shelby) is perfect for the look i was aiming for.
i wanted a slammed/tucked look. something like the foose series.
i wanted larger wheels but i didnt want to hack the body to allow for them.

everything is possible when fitting 1:24/1:25 scale bodies if you have the imagination, parts and patience.

cheers,
bondo

One of the Site Sponsers supposedly has the spacers.
