Just For ****s Supra
have so many parts lying around, a nice body, and some goodies so i started for the first time in years, an xmod project. Using a CF chassis, CF shaft, mini-z wheels all around and we'll see where we go from there. tryna stay stock FETs but maybe an external turbo would be fun. heres what i got so far:
where i started (originally thought it was gunna be a mustang body): http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...695/photo2.jpg some more prep: http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...695/photo3.jpg after mini-z rim conversion/suspension changes/ body fitments: http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...695/photo1.jpg planning to put a li-po kit on it tomorrow http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...1695/photo.jpg and this is where the chassis is at now, need a front right gen 1 dog bone so I can put on the rim. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...695/photo4.jpg some plans are maybe a speedy 07 bb neo mag motor and a 2x2 FET stack, as far as body work goes I might contact someone for help. trying to implement a new suspension system as well. since this is my last hurrah to xmods all comments appreciated. trying to build a fast reliable durable nice xmod that will remind me of the good ol days. if anyone is in search for parts PM me, i have an *** ton. and to anyone on the forum that ive done wrong, i apologize in advance |

Parts came in.. but ran in to one issue. The servo on the Gen 1 board I was gunna use is *****ed so I gotta either get a new one or go hobby grade on it. Indulge n spit some feedback, thanks guys
got a v2.2 board, a stock R motor, and have rear billet suspension towers I'm yet to put on. gotta figure out the EP board/servo situation and then I'll have it mounted. wired up a fresh li-ion kit too, if anyone wants one put together for cheap lemme know i also dremeled out some front mini-z rims for it, but ill save that for next time http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...5/photo1-1.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...5/photo2-1.jpg |
go for the hobby grade micro servo
