problems with AWD drifitng...
 

so i put the awd upgrade in, works sik, but when i drift around turns,
it only drifts one way, the other way just turns wide like it used to.

anyone have any tips??
also,
i was gonna buy a lancer evo body top off some dood, but it dosnt fit on my mustang chasis, i thought all the chasis's were the same,
any help would be helpful

Its similar with my Lan Evo. It oversteers turning right but when it turns left, it understeers. Try checking to see if its steering is alighned and then use the ST.RANGE settings on your transmitter to make sure that it's at the MAX setting.

For your second question, not all Xmods chassis are the same. The G35 for example uses the LONG wheelbase. The Lancer has a shorter wheelbase (it uses the medium shaft in the AWD kit).

I think there is a shorter wheelbase, seeing as there is a short driveshaft in the AWD kit, but I don't know which cars come with the short wheelbases.

how do i go aobut cheking that the steering is aligned? from the trim on the controller?

Check that ^^and i think it could just be that your differential is a bit stiff. I have a gpm rear diff and the same thing happens to me, but apparently after driving for a while, it will wear down and work fine.

Yeah, just drive it forward and use the trim settings respectively to align it.

dont use the trim one, if you click one way too much then the stearing to the other way will be affected too much, instead just open up the front and see if the servo's centered, i centered mine and its so much better than using the contraller every time you play with your car.

The st trim is on your controles, just adjust it properly, and rock and roll. Also, if that still doesn't work, get the tight turns.

yeah just play with your st trim and if that dont work gets tight turns, tight turns does require a little soldering, but if done right helps out a TON!

AWD drifting is deffinately easier than RWD drifting, but if you can hold a RWD drift longer than an AWD drift you gots MAD skillz!

but because awd is easier than rwd, doing rwd better just means fluk...

Yea dude just adjust the trim on the contoller, and the steering range to max, also about you buying the evo body, last i heard it only fits on the Firebird chasie

about your body not fitting, do you have an Evo body clip on the mustang chassis? also, if you do and the wheels dont fit in right, try a different length shaft and remove the spacers (there is a thread about this leme go look around and Ill edit this post and put it on here for you)

If you have a gen 2 there are three screws before the motor take those out and there are two under the car take tose out and there are two settings try both if that dosent wok then Ihave no clue what to do.:thumleft:

I tried it... It was too difficult for me to remove the potentiometer and adjust the servo horn. Basically, everytime I turn on my tC, it points greatly to the left... I've got to leave the ST trim R button held down for at least a second and a half for it to straighten... Its awful, I know!

If anyone has successfully removed the servo horn from the potentiometer, drop us a tut!

yeah with my Lancer it turns a little on right too but you can deal with it by turning a little on the right the wheel controller and it works but when I try to fixe that with the ST trim it seems that it turns even more on left !!!!
