rock band 2
 

i want to say this is NOTa rock band vs. guitar hero thread!

i just saw the commerical on the movin picture box for rock band 2 that is set to come out this fall and really the only reason im talkin is cause it had a ac/dc song in said commerical so i had to get the low down off wiki and leaned it will have over 500 songs but it had a * thing next to it so that means there was a catch(why is there always a catch?why?!) and thats with all downloaded songs and trasferable songs. but i am happy sombody has a ac/dc song. i think who did that first would be top dog. usally i play guitar hero and didnt really think id go for RB but things change an if i get the money i might get it.

rockband 2 comes out sunday! I just got the drums for $50, and I have the guitar hero guitar. They are supposibly going to have around 120 songs, and you can transfer all the RB1 songs to RB2.

Check into that because gamestop told me that the GH guitar will not work with RB but the RB one will work with GH. We have rock band so will just buy the game if it is available in the beginning.

you have it backwards. RB will not work w/ GH because of the extra frets, but it will work vice-versa.

other way. Only the Xbox 360 can use the GH guitar in rockband. Oh, and thats another reason to get a 360. I use my Les Paul GH3 guitar in rockband and it works fine.

I have the first one and dont play as much anymore. it just gets boring after awhile.

Im for one probably not buying the new one unless they change the game radically for the better. Otherwise its just more of the same.

Plenty of other things to spend your money on. Boys CO. is having a sale on J. Lindeberg hoodies and t-shirts, thats like 500$ spent right there...LOL

after hating rockband 1 so bad for how fake it was, im very impressed with the drums this year though. they really stepped it up. and brought the velocity sensitive pads, which is rad.

cant wait to play RB2, but not gonna buy it. im in the market for selling my acoustic drum set and buying an electric set. the only way to rock out is with real instruments :) haha

whens RB2 come out anyways? there an exact date?

Its been out for quite a while now. We got it the day it came out but I don't remember the exact date.

Guitar Hero World Tour pretty much is Rock Band.
But its still fun as hell. :lol:

Me and my friend spent 2 hours in Wal-Mart playing it because we're too poor to buy it. The employee had just finished setting it up.
Oh yeah, they had an AC/DC version of it set up in the clothing dept. with all the AC/DC clothes, but they hadn't completely set it up yet.
