My Mini-z Collection

I'll just start this thread off with my Newly rebuilt MR010 AWD Mini-Z. This one is my Jewel in my collection of Z's at the moment:

This is how I got it from Fleebay:

http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/P5310051.jpg

Upgrades then:
clear black chassis
Atomic Stock R motor
AD board with 3X2 Stacked FETS and 2X2 Stacked FETS for steering
Full set of Metal Bearings
PN Ext. Kit (98mm wheelbase)
Laid down crytal mount
Plus a full set of Orange PN Wheels with different offsets
It also came with a beat up Enzo body (Not pitured 'cuase it was too damaged to do anything with)

It came pretty much like that with the upgrades listed(minus the rims and tires) but I went ahead and Ugraded it even more :D

Here she is now:

Here's it with the racing set of tires and a drifting set fo tires:

http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/P8080053.jpg

New upgrades now:
Kyosho SP color chassis set (gray/blue)
Kyosho Stock front diff.
Atomic SAS Pro Kit
3Racing Alu. ball diff (shaft ver. 2.0) (rear only)
3Racing Alu. Toe in/out linkage 0 degrees (blue)
Atomic AWD centre drive spur gear (94mm/27T)
Atomic SSG composite bulkhead
3Racing Alu. Swing shaft (blue)
Atomic Alu. Motor heat sink (blue)
Altomic Alu. Motor Mount pieces (blue)
Atomic Alu. Front Bumper
3Racing 2mm lock nuts (blue)
3Racing Alu. knuckles 0 degrees (blue)
Atomic Drift tires fitted on Alu. ADVAN rims
3Racing V pattern Tires 10 Degree tires fitted on Kyosho alu. spoke rims

That's about all the goodies I put into this baby and I love it so far.
Btw, this was the most challenging chassis switch that I've ever done before - so many pieces . the end result was nice though.

wow, nice ride you got there! i like the 6 spoke rims on it best. also nice little garage stuff.

dontspamme 08-08-2008 11:38 PM

**** thats a sexy Skyline! IMO the 10 spokes look better. Gives it that Skyline agressive look to it. I dont know where all those parts go, or what they are. But I know they help. I wonder where your S15 is... Post up the rest of your collection!

Donziikid 08-09-2008 12:09 AM

Since it's a collection I believe it would be better suited in the Members RC Garages section rather than General. Hope you don't mind the move. ;)

Glad to see you dipping into the MiniZ scene, X! :D

JDMDUDE 08-09-2008 12:51 AM

creepycrawler 08-09-2008 08:52 AM

scoter 08-09-2008 08:57 AM

Looks great, did you paint the windows or did you get it like that?

HUMMER H4 08-09-2008 08:58 AM

Depends what you want, but it runs from $100+. Upgrades get expensive. Your better off sticking with Xmods. Theres a lot to learn about Mini-Z's and how to handle them.

Thanks Donzi, I don't mind the move. I've been getting into mini-z slowly but it's too expensive to really expand it too much :bigwink:

Thanks guys! Mini-z's are higher quality hobby rc so that's what you're paying for compared to a Xmod which is just a regular rc.

The supra is more like a beater body - it didn't have any windows so i had to make them myself -lol. The S15 is nice but the only thing I don;t like is that there's not place to put lights :nodno: -otherwise it's great.

Here's the 2 latest addition to my collection:

I also have my first MR-02 coming in the mail soon - I got it from Ebay for $73 shipped :)

That supra is a beater? Any chance on tradeing it or selling it? :bigwink:
