well i have been working on this project for a while now but its starting to come around.

chassis is 2x2 fet stack, lithium ion batteries, tires like whats on my crawler, awd, bearings all around, radline green motor. going to put some neos in it soon, although it already pops wheelies. questions comments welcome.

looks good, just one question, why a crawler instead of a street truck?

its an off roader, not a crawler, and i have some street titans. i like lifted dodges.

offroader, crawler, mudder samething, but that is a good reason, keep it up, i like the color

i got the stripes on and the headlights, fog lights, and tail lights.
now i just have to mount it.

man its like my truck project dodge ram but a newer ram. i finaly posted pics so go check it out.

i like color. thats one of the best blues for that year ram, it realy fits it!

ok as promised, finishing up the truck today, got the chassis painted. was putting it back together and went to mount the last shock and it slipped and the shock flew somewhere. :-? so i have another one drying to install it. it turned out pretty good. painted it satin black. now i am going to make the tailgate net.

ok last update unless i decide to change this truck somehow.
got the tailgate net made, did some little finishing touches on trim and little things here and there.
its done, and i got a new digital camera the other day and was able to snap some good shots.

Yahh, I have ADD too, it can be detremental to an important and long xmod project :p

i've always been told im border line ADD. i usually get bored with things quickly and do something else. i get stir crazy just sitting around. but with xmods and models i havn't had any problems with doing them. dunno why, but some things i can stay focused on, other things not so easily.

well another name for ADD is bordom.. lol they told me i was ADD but the truth was i was just really smart and learned slowly which made me board... and most of the time i already know what they are talkin about... cool truck though lol

Yeah, Im borderline ADD and OCD... None of my projects get done because I either forget about them, or get so picky over them I never end up finishing...

Anyway, that truck is looking pretty nice. How does it drive?

truck drives great. when i was driving around without the body it would pop wheelies easily. and it still had a decent amount of torque when going over some speed bumps. it would climp up it pretty good.

I like that a lot, I know where I can get a model like that. Those tires must be a blessing, you can have the interior and the engine, no matter how tall, and the tires make up for it, making it look just as good as can be. Not to mention their ungodly offroad capability. VEry nice zippo, very nice.

Those tires are from John Deere tractor toy (I bought mine at Target for $7.99).

I Love this truck. I am a big fan of the Mopar. Did you have trouble putting that body on the frame? I was thinking about that today but my walmart did not have any models today. great job!
