Wow, nice! All I could suggest is to get some 2mm LEDs (The ones in the CL kit.) and stick them in the bumper holes.

Just for reference - they are 3mm LED's.

That looks great! It is coming along very nicely. I like what you did with the front bumper.

incredible

stang_racer 03-13-2008 06:18 PM

well the paint i like the idea, the fog lights im not so hot for that. i think it might kill the look and additude of the front end know what im saying??? but hey its your car do what you think will look good

theoriganalRiD3R1967 03-13-2008 06:40 PM

that body kit is so sick! 'specialy in the back, are you afraid it might snap it so thin! If you want it too shine put a chrome coat on the entire car first then the red for a few coats, but not to dark so you cant see any of the chrome, cuz then it wont shine

bestdragon2001 03-13-2008 06:43 PM

This things awesome! Cant wait to see more, it looks almost exactly like the real car.

Don't worry, I see what you're getting at cause of the pics I posted as a guide to the look i'm going for, but if you look at the orange 350Z with the actualy vielside kit you'll notice it has its fog lights there. Don't worry though, I'll post pics with and without foglights, I'm still planning on a way to mount the lights lol

Yea I was gonna use this chromlike silver I have as a base, it'll look nice. Also the body's not that thin, it might look like it in the pics, but this body feels about as rigid as a lancer body shell. It's tough no doubt.

hey send it to bondo for a PJ he will make that beast look sweet!

Kaze 03-13-2008 07:34 PM

Bondo does amazing work, but last i remember he stopped taking request till further notice. Plus, I know I do decent jobs myself,so we'll see how this works out, don't worry though it should be just fine. I'll probably primer this coming week once all the body work is done.

Jalengrayson 03-13-2008 10:20 PM

why did bondo stop taking request...I've been contacting him like crazy and he hasn't replied to my pms since december of last year

c1v1c 03-13-2008 10:26 PM

Exactly, I remember him saying something along the lines that he's got a lot of things to do, and that for the time being he wasn't taking request. W/e the reason, lets try not to get off topic guys, he'll answer that eventually.

It's basically a cover for the layers of paint, also helps the adhesiveness of the paint, I'm not entirely sure so don't quote me on that directly. I just know it helps bond paint onto the surface. That's pretty helpful if you ask me... then again yea, idk lol.

I was planning on using those silver tC rims, or the Tenzo Rims seeing how rare the tC BK rims are. Unless someone's willing ot donate or trade for a common set of wheels I'm just going to use what's posted.

Thanks again for all the support and questions.

stang_racer 03-14-2008 12:09 AM
