Nice work.
That will be a real cool car (for a Fit :D )! |
Thanks bro.
Update: Have been working on the hood for 2 days on and off. Still need to do some detail touch up on the putty, but this is where I am up to at the moment. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0458.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0459.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0462.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0463.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0464.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0465.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0466.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0468.jpg Got bored, so made a putty turtle!!! =D http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0467.jpg |
Lol at the turtle but your project is coming along nice, makes me have a completely different look on honda fits now.
|
The hood is looking great, X4L! Keep it up.
By the way, the turtle looks lonely. He needs a friend. |
That is one BA Fit dude. It was really an innocent little car when you started, now it looks like a modern update to the older Honda Civic Type R. This is going to turn out PERFECT!
|
Great putty work, but its starting to look like Element...
|
That is one nice Fit.

Update: Not a major update, but spray a layer of primer on the body work, I notice I didn't do too good on the hood, not smooth enough, and theres some rough spot on the wide body kit, just need some sanding and it should be good, then I gotta do the wide body kit on the other side. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0607.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0609.jpg |
|
fart cannons are a little to big, imo.. But awesome work so far, if it was real id tell you to throw a k20 in that thing haha..
|
Thanks x410mw, I would just leave the muffler at that size, they don't look that bad anyway.

Shes looking awfully good and those $100 lights set it off perfectly ! Whats the next biggest update have in store and what do you think the total cost of this thing is ?
|
I'm in disgust at myself that I haven't been following this project:o
Looks really nice so far, I look forward to seeing the finished results, reminds me of a 09' Honda fit that I sold rims and tires to at work about 2 weeks ago :) |
Im not really into the Honda Fit...but you make me want to get one. Awsome project, and the regular photos. I have been following this build.

awesome detailwork you've got there
amazing. how did you get that definition? i'm assuming NOT sandpaper? |
Thanks XMDrifter! After I add the putty on the body, I used a blade to cut off the extra putty, and once the putty is complete dry, I use 400 grit sandpaper to smooth it out.
