When it comes to wheels, you can never go wrong (Especially with a red body!) with a set of black factory steelies with some meat on 'em!

With in a month your truck will return to stock power (if any gains were actually had). Engine computers work around altered sensor signals and return to stock fairly quick.

Besides that, the sum***** looks gooooood

Update: Got a new/used a/c pump with a clutch cover, so now i am mobile again, also I just need to get my a/c charged then I will have a/c again. :rockon2:

Also at my local salvage yard they have for sale for $3500 like a 1994ish gmc shortbed like mine with a 454 big block and alot of other things here and there on it, but Me and my step dad were looking at the rims and they were aluminum slot rims and they were dirty but would look good on my truck. Next time im up there I am going to see if one they will part out with the rims, then if they do i will see if he wants to trade for the rims i have on my truck now along wiht some cash....if he dosen't want to trade straight across, they have like brand new tires on them.

the gmc sounds pretty cool, any pics of the rims by any chance?

No pics of the rims on the truck but here is a pic of what the aluminum slots look like. (the tires are completely different on the real truck)

They do look good, Ive looked at Corvette Rally's and I didn't reallylike them, but that is my opinion on them.

Update I got myself a new set of rims, I traded mine for 17in American Racing Torque thrust rims. They came with brand new tires except for the passengers rear which is almost bald, but the guy gave me $130 along with the trade to buy a new tire, so I am going to get it put on tommorrow after school, since I had to order it.
Some new pics:

imo thoose look alot better then the ghetto cruisers you had before lol but when you go to get a full set of new tire i think it mite get a better stance if you go with a higher profile set of tires

Thanks, Yea I know that I need to get higher profile tires when I get a new full set. But this dude had a truck just like mine except it had ari bags in it, which was freakin awsome.

GearHeadV8 05-05-2010 09:45 PM

you might wanna get 2 rear tires slightly bigger so atleast the rear has even wear cause if you get a new one and a slightly worn one the tracking could be off just sayin lol. other wise sick looking truck man i love the new rims

The other tires on it are all brand new and are all the same brand, the bald one is a different brand and of course is bald. lol

Also thanks.

Bananabrain 05-06-2010 09:24 PM

Well I got my new tire put on, lots of traction now. lol

Also since I got these wheels I have better acceleration and better handling. I need to get some rustoleum paint for the front brake calibers (Red) and Black for the rear Drums and a few other parts need painted.

suicide_star 05-06-2010 10:14 PM

That's a huge improvement over the previous rims. I'd stick some meaty tires all around. The truck's starting to look mean! Great work and excellent taste.

Thanks, when I get the money I will put new meaty tires on it, but for now these stay. lol

Looking good, I think some window tinting would go along nicely.

Thanks, I had the same idea, when I get my first paycheck after I start working here in a few days, I may get it done at the local tint shop.
