new electronics

a frined of mine that i race with just burned up his circuit board running too big a motor. he is kind of glad. he thought the stock electronics were crap in the car anyway, especially the steering servo.
he has been an r/c plane flyer for years. so he is going to try and use r/c plane electronics on his xmod and see how it works.
all he needs is 1 servo for steering, a speed controller and and a reciever. he has tons of this laying around not to mention already owning the radio.

i think it will be interesting to see how it works out

if your friend uses r/c plane electronics...how's the car gonna go in reverse?

I think some of those gas rc engines do revers or maybe not i am not sure and wouldnt taht be really different? Wait will tah teven fit? I think it will be very har d and will be a dister if u ask me.

he's going to use electric plane r/c equiptment. and he said he just wont have reverse

the servo weighs 4 grams
the speed controller is 6 grams
and the receiver is 5 grams

there is plenty of room for the electronics because it is all smaller than what comes on the xmods
