New To X-Mods

Hello,

Just like to say I have just been introduced to the X-Mod scene and I must say: Why didnt these things come out sooner!!?? :D

Tho I am still a newbie to RC stuff, I am most definetly not new to the scale model scene. I love this stuff and X-Mods are just another medium for me to explore my skills.

I picked up the Nissan Skyline GT-R as my first X-Mod, just because I love the look of that car.

Currently my GT-R is decked out with the "Custom" Skyline Bodykit from R.S., Shock/Spring Upgrade (with the stiff springs installed), Metal Bearing Upgrade, Command Logic Light Kit, and All-Wheel-Drive Upgrade (Not installed yet).

I would have picked up a Stage 2 Motor Upgrade, but the stock on them was out at every R.S store near me, so that will have to wait until next week :bigwink:

Cut out the crappy looking plastic mesh to allow for some more "realistic" looking mesh (Thats coming after paint :bigwink:)

A pic of the custom rims I am in the process of modding to fit. They stick out of the wheel openings a bit, so a custom build widebody kit will havet to be made so they wont look gawdy

Well, thats it so far (and I do stress So Far). Just waiting for the paint to dry on the A-Arms from the AWD kit so I can install it. Some paint work to come in near future. Maybe a few more appearance mods along the lines of Lambo doors, Suicide hood/trunk, etc. etc.

Whatz up? I also have a '99 Black SKYLINE GT-R the upgrades tha I have include: ADW( I only install for a race); Stage 2 Motors (Blue motor installed); Body Kit Upgrade(installed); Lights (only for show); RS Rechargeable batt; and im gettin the tire upgrade and the metal beaings. Im tryin to to find a bright blue or red paint to airbrush it on. im relly just looking for the speed tho
