Well, not really but the car when its 7 or so feet away, the car likes to turn off and on by itself. Also sometimes, the car likes drive itself. What I mean by that is, when I'm turning right but want to turn left still acclerating the car doesnt listen and keeps going right at full power. I have checked the batteries, made sure the crystals are in all the way, change the remote even the EP. This is a gen 1 RSX btw. I have also made sure the range is not fried. I have put something over the plate thing. BTW, many of you might think "this is what happens when you jump your car off the balcony" well it's not.

sound like you may have the controller switched to right hand drive instead of left

What exactly do you mean by that? The controller is on the right hand and the "user" button is on the "r" aswell.

Nope, I checked my crystals. They are correct and I also made sure that the controller crystal went in the controller.

For some reason I doubt that. I always put something over the metal tab, to pervent the range from getting fried. I got that idea off the XI forum somewhere.

The range can be fried many ways. But this is exactly the things that happen when it is fried; short range, gets interference (driving itself) easily since its not gettiing signal from the tx anymore.

Ahh, okay, I'll probably get it returned. This has also happened to my other EP for some reason too even tho if its brand new.
