my lancer wont turn! i was trying to hook up a few xtra leds and suddenly a saw a spark from the car! wats wrong? have i fried the steering FET or is my servo burnt?

Depends on where the sparks came from but...yes...you fried something.

tayyab how did you hook up the leds? when I made them for my KC Highlites I had to use the light kit and solder an extra set of front lights to the kit for them. but other than that your car is toast.

how where you hooking them up and did you have the batts in

kungpow: i had the batts in it and i forgot to turn it off!

xmodsnut: i made a complete custom led kit it was white, it was in flexible tubes so it just hooked up to the inside of the bumbers and it flashed. and i did not use the light kit to make them

did u solder the leds over the ep? if u did check to see if there is any soder that fell and landed on the ep shorting it out
