Just got this baby fixed up bought it for about $7800 and i just replaced the grill and front airdam they were a little banged up.leave ideas,comments,etc.

im pretty sure all Hemis r big block, 426, 440, 383...(yes i kno the 440 aint a Hemi) those were all big blocks.....im pretty sure the 5.7 a big block. the 5.7L is listed on the mopar site under "Hemis and Big Blocks" and they have another section called "Magnums and Small Blocks"....look on the site.....

Pretty ballin truck, but if it was me, i would get smoked tail lights, it would look so sick on that truck. and i would lose the chrome gas cap, cuz it looks a little cheesy. Other than that, i'm super jealous of your truck.
As for the plans for a super charger, go for it!

im painting the new set of rims not whats on it now and noturday i just got to my dads shop and im lookin through a bunch of roll pans that i might use i might go with the one with the license plate holder and its definetly gettin welded on i might get the rims in the next 2 weeks or so. (I luv opening this thing up on the expressway)

Aahh, ok. One tight Idea ive seen is to fill in the tail lights, smooth roll pan, and then have the thin LED tail lights in the roll pan. Best looking rear-end ive seen on a dodge, ever.

media blasting and powdercoating (including mount/dismount of tires): $200-$500

new wheels (which means new tires, plus mounting and balancing): anywhere from $500 to $5k+.

Chux, read the quote, about the same. You didnt think in labor costs of a shop doing it either. Which can run you up some as well.

You can get rims, tires mounted and all for less than $500, but then again, Thats just the local shops here.

i would think it would, the Av is heavy and doesnt like to get a good start most of the time (but when it does you feel like its gonna pop a wheelie), where as ur truck is light and responsive (but would prolly spin the tires off the line for a while)

i raced a ram daytona in my old '00 silverado 4.8 and beat him off the line till 3rd gear when he finally got traction and flew by me, but the Av is faster then the silverado

i also raced a 4dr hemi ram in the silverado when it had 3 downed cylinders and needed a tuneup (WOO 5-BANGER!!!!!! haha) needless to say i got stomped

You can get maybe 30 hp outta the deal. You can safely boost a the procharger at different levels and get much more power. Its just that superchips is much easier. But in any event, when you get the procharger, I do believe it comes with a tuner anyways, so its some-what redundant.

It all just depends on your application and how much work your willing to put in.

my dads was a 2004. but he traded it for a 2004 white excursion when it was brand new, back in 2004, but it had the cruddy v10, and it got like 12 mpg highway! we got the 2003 diesel excursion(black) and it gets close to 20 mpg. oh, and i hear a rumor bout the '08 svt cobra mustang.

powdercoating....yea, gonna need labor costs, most people don't have an oven big enough for most wheels. but still, you're not going to spend more than $500 (my buddy does it for 150, not including tire mounting/dismounting)

no wheel/tire package that could be considered an upgrade is going to cost much less than 500. a nice set of wheels will cost at least that much :nod:

V8 I Like your truck. How fast would you say the 0-60 is in it?

Local shops around here have specials often, plus depends on your target rim size as well. I could get a nice set of 17s for my trucks 6 lugs for about 500, only because the 6 lug rims are a bit more on some rims. But ofcouse, my truck will probly get a set of original style rally wheels, 15s, and the whole set of rims alone runs me just over 425, mounted and all. But thats my ol' school truck. :)

well as far as interior i just got a 7" in dash monitor 2 10's behind the seat
and blue neon on the top of the case there still finishin cleanin up the car
