Hey guys, what is the best paint to use on the XMOD bodies...

everyone is going to tell you different things. I personally used an automotive finish(BMW Carbon Black Met. to be exact) Duplicolor I think would be you best bet, but keep in mind that the prep work you do to the body will make or break the final results. I found out that my black skyline has a factory finish on it and if it isn't prepped right the paint you put on it could react with the factory finish and start to wrinkle. Take your time prepping the bodyand use thin coats of paint until the entire body is covered. I suggest washing the entire body(body kit off)with a mild dish detergant after wetsanding with a fine grit paper and go from there. Good luck.

I will look into what you said, I used to work in a body shop where they also painted cars... I have to bring my mind back to prep speed...

i jus recently painted a Black Skyline
and you have to do a good amount of prep work

the one that i painted bubbled if you didnt prep it just right

so scuff it up a little then paint it
