I blew my motor!

when i was out testing my novaked car, it stopped working. i was driving it for maybe 10 minutes this run, if even that. so after taking it apart, here is what i found:

i cant take the ball bearings off the end of the armture

Ouch! That looks like it was a great motor, hand wound if I'm not mistaken...

yes, it was a handwound motor, from imcreative, i didnt make this one myself. man did this car fly until it melted. when i ran it, it wasnt very long at all really. maybe a few minutes, then i would go rework stuff on the chassis. by the time i would have gotten back out for a run, it was plenty cool enough.

they should have known that that plastic will melt like that. this is why massive testing needs to be done before any new stuff comes out, to make sure it can handle the punishment.
