Waiting on parts for my Yota before I can start re-assembly.....so, I started cleaning up the valve cover.....and then I realized I've got some red high-temp engine paint.....
long story short:

I also painted the intake pipe.....thinking of doing the timing chain cover

Wow! nice job, it pretty much looks like it came from the factory that way

Yeah it looks really cool. I like the red.IMO I think it makes it look more aftermarket (in a good way).

nah, he's got a couple subies, although i don't remember what you he did with the Chuxwagon (the lifted one right?) But he got a Toyota 4 runner, or rav4, i forget, recently.

sold the last of the lifted wagons last fall for $1600, turned around and bought a rust-free '87 Turbo 4Runner a week later for the same price. needed some engine work. I don't have a garage, so progress was slow over the summer, but I've done alot over the last week.
waiting on new timing chain guides so I can start reassembly.
btw, down to just the one subaru now.
