Is there any way to lock the rear diff. Or is my car just broken. When i turn hard to the right the rear right wheel spins and the left rear losed power. The rear diff. is just the first thought in my mind. Any one else had this problem or knows how to fix it?

Thanks alot

take out the diff, take it apart, put part of a tissue in it and screw them TIGHT....there you go a locked diff

and yes its supposed to act as a limitied slip difereential but insted of transfering power to the wheel that has traction it takes it away :nodno:

its normal on every xmod

I think one of your cup joints is on its way out. Order a new left rear cup from your local radioshack. With shipping, it should be under 2 bucks.

When you buy the awd kit, does it come with a locked diff for the rear?

It comes with a Limited Slip Diff, which if overtightened, just slips both wheels, losing too much power, and if too loose, it does the same **** thing!

I opened mine and just put a medium hard grease in it.
Leaving only slight slippage.

I totally locked mine up with super glue. I have other diff's if I need em for slippage. :)

one of my friends locked his with a piece of tissue paper.
within five minutes of racing, it broke an axle cup.
i would suggest getting alloy axle cups if you lock your diff.
especially if your running lithium batteries

i tried putting a vrey heavy grease in mine yesturday. it worked great at first, but eventually the grease went thin enough that it started slipping again.
