this was last weekend in Oregon, I believe. Rained...but subaru guys are tough and show up anyway.

all the subies were awesome. all of them were my favorite. where was your subie? and one more question didnt know subies could drift?!?!?!

nope, AFAIK they're both running STI 6MT AWD trannies with the DCCD set 80/20 to the rear.

this was in Oregon...I wasn't there

The silver Blob-eye and the Baja look hot! The orange Impreza dorifto-team was awesome as well, they all looked very clean. no icky veilside bodykits in any of those pics!

kidZim, I also see a Suzuki Vitara in there! (Grand Vitara? regular Vitara?)

Wasn't the Yuke's orange drift Impreza converted for RWD-only? I remember from a DVD or some other media that I've got somewhere that said that the Yuke's Impreza (remember the one with the cooling holes on the rear doors?) was converted to RWD-only, where the centre-driveshaft and the rear differential were swapped in place of one from a Nissan?

I dont know why, I know its wrong, but I like it.

only thing wrong with it is 300hp (running a built WRX motor) and 31s means all sorts of broken pieces. he took it on a run to Mt St Helens, and broke 2 rear diffs, and 6 axles in one day :o

yep, it was raining all day, and the ground was pretty soft. the ford was just toooo **** heavy, and it's open diffs left it sunk. the subie just aired the tires down a bit, and was fine.

yep, the infamous Mudrat Tube bumper....too bad the guy that makes them likes to rip people off, so that'll probably be the only out there....

I havent seen them rock crawling yet. :lol: They tackle the road like a dream though, love to own one some day as a weekend fun car.

both of them have been. the black one just last fall in 4WD and Sport Utility in an article about the Crawl for the Cure. and my blue one got a whole page in the Reader's Rides section of SubieSport.

and I've posted a crapload of pics of them here.
