after having a bunch of seperate topics for my cars i decided to go ahead and make one that i can show the best of the best pics in.
i'll try to add a small description for each.

first up is the first xmod body that i painted.
acura rsx with a teal/gold color change, unfortunately these are the best pics that will ever be taken of this car since its now doomed for "modster alley".

next up is the ubericed scion TC. the paint is jet black/neon green. it has a raised stock spoiler,cutout "TC" hood, "eyelids" and a caved in roof(it came like that).
i did this one for chukkles and laughs. i bought the starter for the chassis and got so ticked off at the quality of the body that i purposely tried to make it look as rice as possible. did it work???:bigwink:

here's my jacked up ford, the paint is mettalic grey/mettalic base with black/mettalic persian blue scallops.
it has a working lightbar and third brakelight as well as frenched exhaust,smoked lenses front/back and custom "Sadistik/Bondo" liscense plates.

here is my "street truck" F-150. it's covered in a "copperhead" orange/red/green colorchange mix with custom black racing stripes.

this im lead project. my h2 monster. it's still far from finished but the body is done so i guess i can add it to this thread.
the paint is jet black base, lime/neon/bright green brushed "true flame" with my logo painted on the roof.

here's "Nissanshift350's cars. all of these are owned by NissanShift350
the scion,camaro and mustang are laid in hyper pearl white and black accents.
hyper pearl is a pearl variation that includes all spectrums of colors instead of the normal blue/purple pearls.
the rsx is laid in jet black with a lillte silver flake mixed in for dramatic effect.
it has blood red accents with my logo on the roof.

123Vette how do u get ur own custun licence plates did u order then or do u paint them on?

the plates are waterslide decals made using acme's plate maker.
make the plate, resize it to fit and print it on waterslide paper.
i've since found an easier way of making them though:lol: , i have a good freind who is a master with graphic designs and has a much better printer then me making me a crapload of them.

noturday very nice work bondo, how do you get that amazing shine? is it wetsanding (if so what grit) or just a good clearcoat, or both?

it's a mix of good prep,even coats and good clearcoat.. even my best laid clear needs to be sanded and polished though.
if it's just a small bit of peel then i'll hit it with 100g,2000g and two types of compounds. one mild and one fine.

REDisFASTER Incredible! Your team of white cars look great! My #1 favorite is your "HotStang"! I love the choice of colors and the fades! Its not 'flame' fade, but a 'ribbon-y' fade! Very nice!

the white cars are NissanShift350's, he came up with the paint and i painted it.
the only change i made was from pearl to hyper pearl and that was only because it was the onlypearl flake i had on hand at the time.

the flames on the "hot stang" are a variation of "true flame" that's supposed to make the car look faster. like the flames are sweeping down the side unable to keep up with the car.
i have another true flame car coming out very shortly that is more of a traditional "true flame" style.

no problem, if it comes down to it, i can fix it pretty quick.
the only setback would be if i had to order parts but my LHS has a pretty good selection of paasche parts. moslty for the V series.

thanks man, if your looking to start a fresh body then you just scuff it up with some 400grit sandpaper or a scotchbrite pad.
if your looking to get through a poor repaint then you would want to vat soak it in purple power,castrol superclean or simple green concentrated degreaser.

i have a gallon size bunny bananna split ice cream tub that i vat soak mine in.
fill the tub about half full and submerse the body in it.
let it sit for a week or so,pull it out, hit it up with a stiff plastic bristle brush and the paint should fall off.

i've been on the same half gallon of purple power for about 6 months now and it's showing no signs of quitting.
if i had to guess, i'd say that i've stripped about 10 cars and hundreds of dried paint jars.

thanks man, i charge a $20.00 base fee for single color.
after that it's $5.00 per color and the graphics depend on the detail.
i would need a full description in order to fully price it.

i actually paint my cars *** backwards according to some people.
i dont mask the windows before i paint the body.
i paint the entire body including windows first and then i mask the windows and paint in the black.

the reason that i do it this way is actually kind of simple.
when you mask the windows first, your masking line is going to be as thick as the coats you put over it and most of the time there's no way to tell if you cut the masking to properly cover the pre-existing color.(ever see that weird tinge around reapainted windows where the original color peeks through?)
painting the entire body first ensures that your new color will completely cover and when you mask for your new windows, your mask line will be thinner since black covers everything in one coat most of the time.


and yeah, lowrideit, your right....it is a hemi...71' to be exact i guess i was thinking of the superbird at the time.

this im lead project. my h2 monster. it's still far from finished but the body is done so i guess i can add it to this thread.
the paint is jet black base, lime/neon/bright green brushed "true flame" with my logo painted on the roof.

It was actually a silver rsx with black rsx bk parts so he did paint the whole car and then added the joker and numbers.

**** amazing Bondo!! ****, if I had to comment on all of them, that would take too long! But my top 5 are:

H2 Monster, Just simply **** amazing, great body, crazy custom tires and chassis. Not to mention that you can just get it to sit in a wheelie position. Any idea when that would be done?

DimeBag Scion, never knew they had glow in the dark paint, or as a matter of fact, that something like that can be painted!!

HotStang, that thing is simply amazing.

FMC's Lancer, Very clean PJ and ****, is that thing lowered! That thing is indeed track worthy. Mind telling me what rims those are? I know their painted.

4cefed's Mustang. That is crazy. Mabye a little over done but amazing paint job. Not to mention the controller and the neon under the hood is a nice touch.
