I've been thinking about repainting my wagon for a few weeks....and thought I'd do some photoshopping to see how it looks.

went to the car wash, and then the park nearby, and took this:

I like the black door handles and the black bumpers the most. Not too crazy over the tint though

Engine swap, tranny swap, cheap generic coilover springs. MUUUCH more to come

what do you guys think of the decals? too much? bad placing?

I'm not happy with the photoshopped tint either, it's pretty hard to recreate, but the real car WILL have tint.

I like the tint and the color. Not a big fan of all the decals on the sides though.

I like the decals that are on it, not too many and they seem to add to the whole theme of the car. I think the black mirrors would be a nice touch to the car as well. Good luck on the project

Motor is an N/A MPFI 2.2l EJ22e from a '92 legacy. stock, for now. hopefully will receive some belt-driven forced induction by the end of the year.

so, did a bunch more combinations today...and found that I really like black handles bumpers and mirrors. and realized that realistically by the time I get around to repainting the car blue, that it probably won't have an RX FT4WD tranny in it anymore. and the STi decal looks like crap on the current 'black' paint.

so I put together this. I call it "Evolution of an Animal". a realistic plan of what I want to do to the car over the next few years. the middle pic should be a reality by this summer. but the repaint probably won't come for at least another year, more likely 2.

I'd love to get it painted sooner...but I just don't have the money to be spending on a paint job.

as for the tranny, I'll probably have to replace it with something stronger. possibly an STi 6MT.

Theres nothing to get rid of that front bumper? Thats about the only thing I dont like about it, sticks out too much.
