Wouldn't the 200 post rule to post a topic in the B/S/T area cause spamming in order to post something in the B/S/T?

No. Because spamming equals infractions. Once noobs learn that, they'll be whole lot better off.

with how active this forum is it's not hard to get 200 meaningful posts.

though 200 is a little high. i would have gone with 150 or 175.

yeah i agree with you mc4l....i think 200 is a lil high up but it does decrease the spam :nod:

I didn't make the rule, so I'm only assuming....

but, the 200 number was chosen because it's high enough, that if you're whoring it up enough to get there before we can catch you, then you'll be very much banned from there.

but low enough that if you have something to contribute, it's pretty easy to get there.

you have to have at least 200 posts BEFORE you can post in the B/S/T section

Before you can post in it?,I thought that was just to make a thread,I thought you needed 50 to buy but 200 to make a thread.
