View Full Version : Weak fets?

alright, im running a 6 cell in my car and stock fets and twice now its shut down when i was driving(motor stopped). and when i picked it up my car stunk bad of a burning plastic smell and were hot. Will it weaken the fets at all?

Is the motor getting hot also? What gear are you running?

im running a 8 tooth and was driving around for about 15 min then it just stopped. so i picked it up and thought the fets were fried by the smell. so i let it sit till it cooled down and turned it on again and it was fine. I think the engine temp was average or just over warm.(its a differnt car from last time i blew my fet)

Is the motor getting hot also? What gear are you running?
