Hahhaa now picture a row of M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks drifting around terrorist armored vehicles firing at them; now that would be kickass

Those tanks start at $2,000,000 and it's your taxes that are payfor them to mess around, instead of shooting up the iraqies... Which is kinda good, and bad, cuase new treads aren't cheap...

It could be worse, it could be a GM... :p

I drive a tracked vehicle for the Army (M270 A1) and I'll tell you "tank drifting" is not hard to do. We call it "powersliding"

thats definitly something I have never seen before.
its not our taxes....its filmed in West boden, which is actually Boden-Boden its a military base in germany, AND the guys drifting are swedish...not american

Your slow on the car news arent ya? GM is kickin ***, and is still #1, even though it had some of the crappy 90s?

And.. its not an american tank, sweed, its sweedish. Thats why I said youd be all over it. nothing to do with american cars :p:bigwink:

I've never done it before (probably never will), but I agree with you saying that it isn't hard to do. With a vehicle that powerful and with a large mass+weight, it makes it easy to drift/powerslide with all that momentum.

By the way, that's not Germany, it's northern sweden... Norrboten, I knew it sounded familiar, and just asked mum. Confirmed to be sweden....

Hm... Which reminds me... I thought about doing military service in at home for two years after college... With a major in Mechanical Engineering at FAMU, I should be able to get to do that.....

Here's a picture. Search the place, it's in sweden. "Norrbotten" means North "Sumthing", I'm not sure what the "Sumething" is, as a place near our summer house ends with botten, but that's a place were a German (Nazi) Uboat was sunk....
