The 11 tooth(blue) works best for me. Since I'm running a li-ion system I get plenty of torque (cause of the cells) and the tall gear gives me the top end

the back of the motor package says yellow is the best overall motor but i love my red s2 motors i think they r the best

no motor is the best, its just the pinion side that makes the diffrence.. all the motors are the same number of wind's, i belive 52.. i disasembled one once, and it didnt have accurate windings on each pole, one was at 60! the motor would sound like a wining power steering pump..
