stage 2 motor

hi i have bought a stage 2 motor upgrade for my subaru wrx i have stock FET's at moment should i upgrade ??

id say yes, but dont load it with em.

with just a stage two motor the fets wont make a difference, if you get a motor that requiers more amp's then yea you should upgrade

leave the stock FETs as they are unless you want to use a high current (hot) motor. the S2 motor wont stress the stock FET's enough to blow them unless you run your car for way too long. i would say you are in good shape

ive done it to my lancer, i put 10 fet's on it cus i had em and i was bored, it was fast as frick but i drove it too fast and it got hit by a ford focus in a customs race at my afterschool games club and now its screwed, in other words bad idea to fet it up.

I will agree to not upgrade your fets unless you do get a hot motor. It is not something that you need to do.:D

It'll still give you a performance gain. Just because you don't run a hot motor, doens't mean that FETs won't up the performance a bunch...

Whether you do it now or later, if you plan on totally customizing, your going to have to do it sooner or later, its pretty much inevitable...
