Alright, I won an ebay auction that included the Neon Underglow. It worked at first, but then I noticed it flashing then dying. I think the wire is comming out where it attaches to the plug. Im afraid to solder it in since I suck at soldering and im afraid ill spill it over onto the other wire and cross currents and it wont work. Any tips?

try to post when you can actually help...ANYWAY...solder it...unplug it from the car and solder it, if you cross the 2 wires you will know it before you hook it back up and do any damage. Heat the wire first and then add just a tiny bit of solder to the connection. If you screw it up you are no worse off than you are right now. And remember...solder can be undone easily.

yea if you add to much solder just use a solder vacuum to suck it up. and to resolder the wire just put a little solder on the tip of your iron and just touch the iron to the wire while its on the tab

i offered you a solution to your frustrations.
if you wana swim in the shallow end thats fine, but when you decide to remove your water wings and put your brains to good use on people who understand and aprreciate it, you know where to go.

could u just cut the neon wires and soder them right to the batt wires where they go into the board? because then u can have 2 ports for say um the head light tail light logic lights and have another on for like fog lights or somthing would it work. or vice versa just solder the lights right to it?

You would first have to measure the voltage that is put out at the plug to the neon...if it is the same as total battery voltage then yes you could. (I'm not sure what the ports on the board put out)
