What's the max pictures per post?

I hope they aren't too big, but if they are, what do I shrink them to (500x500?)? I'll do it in the morning...

I'll try and find more pictures later, and go more into depth when I get home, after I blow up The Micro T....

My dad has had this car for almost 20 years now. It's a 1979 Honda Civic CVCC from the EDM (European Domestic Market)... Currently the only upgrades/hop-ups are a Two-Carb Intake, and 13 inch alloy rims....

We're restoring it to original specs, not making it faster, or racier...

Thing is, it's pretty peppy, sitting at around 98 HP for a 1.2 litre motor, and a dual carb... All in a 800kg car, that is including a 60kg driver and a full tank of gas....

sweet, the best "old school" civic ive ever seen, it is in immaculate condition, nice. I especially like the design of that valve cover, never seen under the hood of a honda this old, thanks for sharing this jewel with us!!!

I used to have one of those. I bought it for $150, ran the guts out of it for like 2 years, then sold it for $300!!!

That's the OEM color?! I still see factory spec and warning stickers on the front bar! That's wicked! Is that the first-gen Civic? Did they even make an FR Civic, or have they always been FFs?

Yes. It's a EDM (Euro Domestic Market) Civic, we imported it a few summers back, all the way from, you guess it, SWEDEN!. The car sat for 3 years within the ARTIC CIRCLE, then sat for 12 more in my Grandma's garage.... It had very little rust, and started right off....

It's been repainted twice now. But not bad for a 28 year old car.... It was painted around the warning stickers, and the black was handpainted on...

The first civic came in 1977. That body style was made until 1979, when they changed it... Yes, it is the First Gen Civic, but version 3, Euro. There were small changes each year. And it's the European Market car, so it was slightly diffrent (Bumbers) than the American cars/

Did they even make an FR Civic, or have they always been FFs?

I believe that the AZ 600, the Z600, or the 600 might have been a FR car, but so far all but the new JDM Civic Type "R" have been FF cars.... The new Type R JDM Civic is gonna be a Turbo, AWD car... I'll be importing one...

Whaddya mean? The whole thing has gone through a complete tear done, and rebuild... Oh, and we tried to start it a few days ago, it turns over, but he has some wiring wrong....

No, we have two hoods, and two grills, we just got it started. When it runs good we'll put it on.
