I don't see a need for 'em unless you're beating the crap out of the plastic ones. It's just a cosmetic upgrade. If they were cheaper I'd consider them more than I have

Not only do they add weight, but at 25 bucks, they are machined poorly. The Hot Rod wheel kit has the same exact design in plastic, and it's tough to tell the difference. Unless you're breaking the plastic rims, there's no need.

You can get them significantly cheaper from xmod world, and you could probably get them cheaper from the guy who makes them.

The aluminum rims from RS aren't even machined they're cast, just Hot Wheels cars. The sad thing is the amount of metal used to make the rims equals about 2 cars. $25 bucks just isn't worth it.

Yeah they are expensive at atomic mods. Atomic ****es me off because everything there is so expesive and it really shouldnt be...

sure, i hope they make some out of lead and sell it for 50 dollars, i wouldnt buy these alum wheels, waste of money

cXp did somethin with the alluminum rims and the plastic hot rod rims..

he asked if we could tell the two appart from each other

i think the plastic hot rod rims look better than the alluminums :nod:

I think that the alluminum rims would be worth every penny if they were machined Larger and Wider. 14mm wide.
