I don't care what it looks like, that's not why I buy anything. I'm looking at that sweet azz V8, 6-speed auto, e-locker rear end, etc.

In this month's Automobile Robert Cumberford points out that it doesn't matter that it's ugly, people'll buy them anyway.

It's ok, but the trucks by the Big 2.5 all look better and, apparently, the new GMC trucks raised the bar crazy high.

Nothing special there either...there's lots of trucks now that sport V-8's.

Anyways, the chassis design looks great, but the body looks way too chunky!

If you compare all of the popular trucks from each company ford, GM, dodge, toyota, nissan, etc. you'll find that not one of them beats any of the others in every category...price, cargo vol., HP, torque, towing cap.etc. That's how they keep the market competitive. It all depends on personal preference.

yes, because I like to calculate my mileage in gallons per mile

in all reality, there are about 8 people in the country that really need that.

of course, only about half of the people who drive pickups actually need them anyway, most of them just have them to try to make up for other inadequacies.

it's true, out of the box, all of the fullsize pickups out there right now are pretty comparable. but I do nothing but work on cars when schools not in session. and 7 times out of ten, it's a ford or GM. 2 times it's a dodge, and the rest of the time we spend restoring that old Porsche....never had to work on a Toyota. hell, mine was run without oil for 500 miles, and threw the thrust washers into the oil pan....new thrust washers: $15. Craftsman Torque wrench: $75. Plastigage: $2. knowing that my 'Yoda really is bullet proof: priceless.

Toyota trucks aren't THAT bad when it comes to looks...and reliability of a toyota is why a lot of people have them. Now if you wanna see a HORRID truck...take a look at the Honda Ridgeline...(no offense if anyone likes it) but GAG! I'd take a toyota truck over any other truck... I still like the previous year body style better though.

Nice interior, but the Americans do it best when it comes to building trucks. I'll take an F-350 with a diesel, thanks. ;)

The new Tundra is by far the best; and I know from experience. My dad just bought an 07 tundra with 5.7l v8, trd, and its by far the best truck we've owned so far. We've owned everything, from a ford ranger-f350 to dodge dakota-3500 dually diesel. This truck is amazing; its raised high stock, with 18" alloy wheels, equally large tires, awesome interior, jdl sound, speakers and stereo, and the body is beautiful. I'll soon have some pics of my dad's fire-engine-red one, so everyone can see it in person. All you Big 3 fans, move over, there's a new sheriff in town :D
