How would I go about painting my Xmod?

if youve never painted anything before I would buy a few clearance models from somewhere and practice. You need masking tape for starters, I usually use a 220grit sand paper and spray paint not the cheap stuff either, I usually use something like krylon. Also a decent hobby tools help such as a good xacto knife and other small handling accessories. You could also go with a airbrush setup if you got the cash. Either way you want to make sure you take time and detail to you preping of the car body you want to sand the body up real nice and be careful to scratch up areas such as the windows I usually mask the windows first thing. I have learned it helps to mask the windows by putting tape down and then run along the edges of the window with something like a sharp pencil just to push the tape down in the corners. Also after sanding make sure you clean the body before spraying it. You want to lightly spray a even coat after that dries spray another coat after that dries depending on how thick the first 2 coats are you might want to hit it a third time

Tamiya paints work really well. I'd suggest them for your project.
