you really need to get a pinion puller it's the only way
if u ever did manage to get it off you would most likely damage ur new motor
and that would b an even worse situation

find a local HOBBY STORE and get one from there
you really need a pinion puller though

There are a few ways to get the pinion off without a puller, but I wouldn't recommend them. Just buy a pinion puller, or ask your local hobby shop if they'll do it for you for a buck or 2.

that could work too
cuz it only takes bout 10sec

There's no way you can get the pinion off in 10 seconds. You've gotta (gently) tap the shaft so it'll back out a little. Otherwise, the puller wont fit under the pinion. Then there's the grunting in trying to twist it off.

i put wire cutters right behind the pinion and squeeze till theres space
the i use the pinion puller
