i have a skyline and i was paintin the hood with spray paint and it is dry but it is sticky any suggestions

P.S. i dont have an airbrush yet

what kind of paint were you using???????????????? it is best to use an air brush.

and the paint is premium gloss protective enamel(dark green)

air brushes can get to about $30.00 it depends what kid you get, you can get it from any craft store around.

buy one from walmart for 20.00 bucks it's a great external mix(that's wht i strted with)

Put a clear coat over it while it is still tacky. this will help bond the clear coat to the paint and protect your paint. Plus the clear coat will dry rather quick compared to the paint.

Also if you are wanting to paint a car quickly then use a flat paint. Flat paint will dry in about 5 minutes. Then just add the clear coat in thin layers till you get it as gloosy as you want it to be.

once you finish sprying it, put a clear coat of spray paint on it then Lightly sand it with 400 grit sandpaper. It should smooth it out. :lol:
