The suspension upgrade is good, but is there anychance that a small sway bar would improve handling. And is there any other suspension tips that any one has.

not entierly sure but i beleive that the front deck serves as a sway bar... i noticed this when i removed it thinking that it served no purpose.... so i put it back and noticed a diff in hadeling

The mono shock is horrible! That was the single worst mod I've ever done. It was like there were no springs. What I would suggest is to get some thick plastic, and make a bar that bolts up to the suspension points, and bolt in on on top of the shocks. It makes it almost like a live axle, and traction is greatly improved.

i JUST took the mono shocks off my 67 Camaro.... dont get me wrong they worked perfectly.... however im very new to xmods so imma try both ways.. but to recap i like the monoshock idea i just dont put the center pole throu the shock.... gives it more flex still rebounds perfectly

what the heck is a mono shock i first thought it was one shock for both wheels but something makes me think differently

It's 1 shock that is connected to where the 2 shocks usually connect to the A-arms.

wouldnt that make the suspension too soft.and amke the handling really sloppy, to get through a turn you want your suspension tight so theres not alot of body roll

Yeah, pretty much. The swaybar keeps the suspension stiff, yet also helps hooking up in a straight line.

i just put blue springs in

and i just thought of a briliant idea
you could double wrap the shocks
like put one shock inside the other and have two shocks in one
and double your stiff ness (if stiffness is what u want)

The softening of the suspension is why drifters like the monoshock ;) Put a red spring on there, and the body roll is visible, even at 20+ mph. Helps out a good bit with drifting.
