Nice! Its lookin good so far..Question tho, what is that white stuff that ur using and where could I pick some up? Ive see other people use it on bodykits but i dont kno what it is..Ive seen people use like thin plastic sheets or somethin to form the shape and then they applyed the putty over top for a smoother look.., is that what you did? Ive only used bondo, i find it works the best. But what ever, thanks anyways and good job:nod:

Have you ever painted a Xmod body ? I know you've painted modle car bodies with no windows that you have to tape off, but what about a Xmod ?
lol

Looks awsome right now !!!!!
I love it.

wow, that's pretty sick.

no, TC is FWD. it sucks. i would love to make a TC RWD and drift that.
well, i guess you can mod a TC and make it RWD. iono.

i was going to say, the wheels looked "deeper" in the back, then in the front, thus my question. i was almost confident they were FWD

thanks guys, i'll post some more updates on it later. I'm actually using the Tamiya Smooth type epoxy putty - it's similar to the quick type except that it hardens faster and stays pretty smooth and clean once you shape it out good. It's in a light blue lil' box instead of the green one that the quick type comes in but I have to say that the quick type works just as good the smooth type.:bigwink:

Oh yeah- @ doc - i only have to paint the body kit and not the enter body - remember i said that it's going to be enterchangable so i don't have to worry about masking too much at all.

here are a couple more pics of some more work i did to it last night.

all that's left is to add a few more lil touch-ups, sand, prime and paint. I already ahve the paint so i think i can finish this up by the end of this week hopefully.

thanks guys - i finished up the Rado body kit for my tC. I learnt a few thing about working with putty so the next one i do should be more better with less flaws than this one but i most say first time working with it - i think i did a descent job. Here's the pics of the body kit on it...

This is only a body kit upgrade so like i mentioned b4 - i don't have to worry about it too much since i can still change it and start a new one using my other body kit set.:bigwink:

eh.
I don't know man. I thought you would of done a WAY better job. are you going to paint the body ? Heres a tut on how to tape off the windows. It's not hard at all.
http://www.bluespringsbmx.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=361

Check it out.
Don't let that hold you back from painting the WHOLE body that color.

There are some spots where it needs sanding. Wet sand will help.

If you want i can point out those spots , but i think you know where there at.

Other then that i like it. The body design is awsome !I love that , but the body kit a little bit different from the body ? I don't know. Your better off painting the whle thing that color.

The Body kit is a slightly different shade from the body and u might want to smooth out the windows. But otherwise looks great

xmodkidd33

I agree with some folks, paint the entire car.

It looks great, but i know you can do better cause i've seen your previous work. Maybe sand down the parts that are kinda messed up prior to painting the entire car.

not to be ricer or anything lol but i think you need to make a longer and maybe a little bigger exhaust lol

Yeah...paint the whole body dude.

And I think on one of the 06 Mustang body kits there is some exaust pipes that are square-ish...those would look nice on there...

thanks for the commnets and advice guys! I'll be refining it due the the obvious little stuff that i missed out. I can see that rushing this one still ended up in me putting some tlc into it later but i assure you that i'll get it looking much better before the weekend is up. It's only the kit so i don't wanna spray thewhole body just yet - i'll try something out with the paint to see what i come up with but i'll definately keep ya'll updated on it.
